Dulux  Weathershield  Texture is  a  premium  quality,  water-based textured basecoat for interior and exterior masonry and plaster surfaces. It is suitable for use on both new and previously painted surfaces. It has good adhesion and workability.

APPLICATION TOOLS

PREPARATION

Surfaces must be sound, clean, and as dry as possible and free from all defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease or wax.

Wash off all algae, fungi, loosely adhering paint, debris and powder by high pressure water jet. A mixture of household bleach and water (1:4) or Dulux Fungicidal Wash (A980-19260) should be used as wash and left for

48 hours before final rinse with clean water. This will ensure that most algae and fungi spores are killed. Allow to dry thoroughly before painting.

Notes: Do not apply Dulux Weathershield Texture in wet weather (the temperature of surface for application should not be under 100C).

♦  A suitable cartridge mask should also be worn when rubbing down.

♦  Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.

♦  Do not breathe vapour/spray. In case of insufficient ventilation during spraying wear suitable respiratory equipment.

♦  All   respiratory  equipment   must  meet   an   appropriate  approved standard.

♦  Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.

♦  When applying paints it is advisable to wear suitable eye protection.

♦  In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

♦  Remove splashes from skin: use soap and water or a recognised skin cleaner.

♦  Care must be taken when transporting paint. Keep container in a secure upright position.

♦  Contains no added lead or mercury.

♦  Protect from extremes of temperature. Store in a cool place.

♦  In the event of an accident contain and collect spillage using sand or earth. Do not empty into drains or watercourses.

♦  Dispose of any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate
