Desciption
Sikafloor 2430 is a solvent containing 2-component epoxy top coat.
Uses:
For coloured surface finish of lightly to medium exposed walls and floors of concrete or cement screed.

Application:
The substrates must be of sufficient strength (compressive strength mini-
2
mum 25 N/mm ). The surface should be level, solid and dry as well as
free from loose, friable particles and oil, etc. The pull-off strength should
2
be above 1.5 N/mm .
Maximum moisture content of substrate: 4%
A sound and clean substrate is of utmost importance, in particular as this
flooring system is a thin layer system, hence loads applied to the floor are
transmitted to the substrate.
Cavities or defects in the surface should be levelled with suitable mate-
rial (e.g. mortar from Sikafloor 94) prior to treatment. Repaired spots
should be lightly ground prior to impregnating and sealing.
Prior to mixing, stir component A mechanically. Mix components A and B
intensively in the correct mixing proportions with an electric power stirrer
of approx. 300-400 rpm.
Mixing time is minimum 3 minutes but it may take longer until a homoge-
neous mixture is achieved. Fill mixed material into a clean container and
mix again shortly.
