Special Features:

For bonding new concrete to old

A cement-based epoxy-modified three-component anti-corrosion coat-

ing and bonding agent.

Uses:

As an anti-corrosion coating for reinforcement steel:

For repairs to reinforced concrete where there is corrosion of the underlying reinforcement steel

For the preventive protection of reinforcement steel in thin reinforced concrete sections

Advantages:

For repairs to concrete using Sikatop patching and Sika Monotop repair mortars

For bonding new concrete to old

Technical Data

Component B : ~ 1.03 kg/ltr

Component C : ~ 1.25 kg/ltr (bulk density)

Freshly mixed mortar : ~ 2.00 kg/ltr

Component A : B : C = 1 : 2.5 : 14.0 (parts by weight)

1 set yields approx. 10 litres of mortar

As a bonding slurry, depending on the unevenness of the concrete sub- strate, not less than 1.5 kg per m .

As an anti-corrosion coating, ~ 2 kg per m for 2 coats, depending on the method of application.

Application:

Concrete, mortar, stone:

The substrate must be clean and sound and free from all traces of lose material, laitance, grease and oil.

Steel:

Surfaces must be clean and free from all traces of grease and oil, rust and mill scale.

Shake component A and B vigorously before opening. Pour both liquids into a suitable mixing pan and mix for 30 seconds. Add component C slowly while continuing to stir the mixture. Mix mechanically for 3 minutes,

using a slow-speed electric stirrer (250 rpm) in order to entrain as little as possible air. Leave to stand for 5 -10 minutes, until the mixture exhibits a brushable, low-dripping consistency.
